I am not pretty sure if I understood correctly, but I have tried gnokii in 
command line like this:

echo 
"123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789" 
| gnokii --sendsms +420MyNumber

And the same result occured. But I have one more information. When the 
serial_write_usleep parameter is set to 10000, then I can't send any SMS, I 
had to lower it down to 1000 or lower and then at least short SMSs are sent.

Any clue ?
