I didn't get any errors after re-installing the
kernel-sources. Could it be due to you not having root
access? 

However, when I run 'dmesg' i can't find the lines
below as suggested in the readme-dku2:{
  Nokia AT Port:
  usbserial.c: Nokia 7600/6230 DKU2 driver converter
now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)
  Nokia FBUS Port:
  usbserial.c: Nokia 7600/6230 DKU2 driver converter
now attached to ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs)}

You need to ask the experts!
