Hi,

I have an Nokia 6600, a Belkin Bluetooth adapter, the bluez stack and Fedora Core 2 on a IBM T30. I now have gnokii working but when I dump my phonebook to my PC, gnapplet crashes with the message "App. closed Main".
At the bash shell I enter:

gnokii --getphonebook ME 1 end -v

It crashes at record 56 every time. The last output in the text stream is

    00 01 00 00 00 00 00 39 | 9

Then I have to <ctrl><c> to get a command prompt.

If I try "ME 58 end -v" I get more crashes later on in the file. It seems to be specific records that make it crash: "ME 57 -v" always results in a crash. As do 62 and 64. However the output text stream is different in each case....

An obvious place to look would be in the records themselves, an immediate thought is that I have thumbnail photos on some of the entries. However they don't come out in alphabetical order, so I wondered if you know how I could determine the problem records before I have to go through a process of elimination.
Many thanks

Steve Harris
