6310 ringtones and cable

Hi!

I'm trying to send ringtones to my 6310 using gnokii. I use the command
gnokii --sendringtone tyo.rtttl 0407571459 but it doesn't work.

Do you have to convert the rtttl file to some other format or should it
work just like that.

I got the impression from somewhere that you cannot send ringtones to
the phone using the cable. It has to be sent using ir or radiowaves. I
guess it was in the nokia manual.

The other thing I've tried to get working the whole day is IR, Linux and
6310. For some reason I cannot get anything from it. I'm so frustrated.
