Hi friends!
Later to find a lot of problems I perceive that gnokii, bascom avr software
by Mark V and Nokia Data Suite use FBUS to perform Authentication!
So I've understood that FBUS is the correct way to perform detection of
incoming calls.
My idea is connect a PC running Nokia Data Suite 3.0 to mobile phone and spy
what his transfer.

My problem is: I mounted the FBUS cable located at
page:http://www.freecomms.co.uk/Ringtones/fbus-mbus.asp
Anybody know if it works fine? With me I send a signal with amplitude equal
to 2,7V but without answer from cell phone.

Thanks in advance.

Eduardo,

I have written code to authenticate using BASCOM on a ATMEL microcontroller.

In my experimentation, I found that you didn't need to authenticate, but the
Set Cell Broadcast had to be sent to the phone, and after this, incoming
call notification came through.

If you are interested, you can check out http://www.mcselec.com/an_124.htm
for an application note I have 'thrown' together. Due to limited memory in
microcontoller, and because I was using Basic, and not assembly, I could not
fit everything into 8K memory.

Note, I used FBUS, and not MBUS, but I assume that the packets/packet order
are very similiar.

HTH
