right. /dev/ircomm0 and add modify INIT2 in /etc/wvdial.conf to only
show INIT2=AT&FX4

since i don't have service where i'm located..i'll have to take a road
trip for 1-3 miles to where i can get service later on.

if this matters any (via command line)

# gnokii --setlogo startup startup-logo.mine.female 
GNOKII Version 0.4.2a
Error setting startup logo - SIM card and PIN is required

I'll try the above addition also shortly.
