Hello. I want to get rid of Mac OS X. I have to copy all my data from the Mac OS X partition to the gNewSense partition. What filesystem should be used on my USB HDD to provide an access from both systems?
As far as I know, ext2/3/4 file systems are not supported by Mac OS X. FAT32 works with both, I think.
I haven't tried it yet, but I remember that I had some problems with this issue in the past. I also want to resize my gNewSense partition after that. Can I trust this guide? [1] [1] http://en.positon.org/post/Resize-an-ext3-ext4-partition
Looks OK. You could also try GParted, a graphical frontend that's bit less scary. :)
