The last lines on /var/log/messages of both modems is about when I remove the device.
I did not figure out how to dial. In Trisquel USB modems are automatically detected. I do not have access to a Trisquel machine when testing these modems to make sure they use libre software and firmware before buying them so I have to be sure one of these two does beforehand. How should I configure dialing on gNewSense? I could test them modems if I could configure gNewsense with one of them.
