Ladies and gentlemen,

Following some last minute work by Brian, and some good work this week
from Marco, Lee and I I would like to announce the the gNS/Packages/
MAIN repository [0], is now officially free (as defined by the FSF).

It's taken quite a bit of effort to get there, and the number of
contributors is a little large to list here. Needless to say, I'd
like to thank all of those that helped in a small or large way, as any
contribution is significant.

Doing the weekly stats this evening will be a joy :-) !

The Delta-H release (based on Ubuntu's Hardy Heron) is due in April,
so we will need to work out a way to reduce the amount of duplicated
work that we need to do on that release. I filed a bug here [1], and
any ideas on this would save us huge amounts of time.

The kernel checking (KFV) [2] is now officially open, so if you would
like to help-out, you'd be more than welcome to look at the _Drivers_
area. I want this to look like the PFV page, so if anyone can help
with some formatting, that would be really helpful.

There is a bit more involved in downloading the kernel for checking,
but once downloaded, (in my opinion) the licences are easier. Feel
free to edit the guide to downloading, so that it is even more
helpful.

Thanks again to all, this is a real milestone.

Time for a celebratory bottle of cider! [3]
