[Gnewsense-dev] package linux-image-2.6.31.6-libre1 cannot be authenticated

I'm trying the mipsel netboot installation using these two below, trying
to find a work around for the incomplete installation:

4533130 2009-11-17 19:53 vmlinux-2.6.31.6-libre1
5259509 2009-08-05 17:55 initrd.gz

When the installation stops, I've tried going into the shell and adding
the missing packages (kernel, bootloader, etc) by hand.  However, when
trying to install the kernel image, apt shows two errors,

First it gives the error,
        WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated!
          linux-image-2.6.31-libre1
Other packages authenticate fine.

Second it compounds that error by rolling ahead without stopping.  It
could be that this mistake has been fixed:
