Same here. Unfortunately this is out of our control. It was YouTube
intentionally playing nicely with Gnash by providing Gnash users with the
older, compatible, player.

They may have decided to drop such support, or done so accidentally. The most
useful thing to do would be writing them an email reporting the problem.
