Follow-up Comment #1, bug #35547 (project gnash):
I've changed test file a bit; changed sound volume on each part to make
difference obvious,
and fix repeating to 8 time to avoid bug #35545 (zero repeat issue).
New test file: soundstartposition-amplitude.swf
Sound information from ming's listswf:
Offset: 25 (0x0019)
Block type: 14 (SWF_DEFINESOUND)
Block length: 19353
CharacterID: 1
SoundFormat: MP3
SoundRate: 22 KHz
SoundSize: 16-bit
SoundType: Stereo
SoundSampleCount: 50710
Mp3: SeekSamples 1670
Video result from Flash Player 7: http://www.mediafire.com/?f5rv77ph8n3o1v5
(Two pitch were played, no gap in loop)
Video result from Gnash 0.8.10: http://www.mediafire.com/?sdii19r9674vwd1

Modified test file (also attatched here):
