No, 3.0.x isn't stable yet. 3.0.0 reliably crashes out for my use case 
within minutes, and 3.0.1 was declared DOA (even though it actually 
lasts about 24 hours in my use case, unlike 3.0.0). So 2.0.9 is as good 
as it gets at the moment.
