Hello everyone
A temporary schedule has been made for the events to be scheduled to mark
SOFTWARE FREEDOM DAY
The highlights are as follows:
EVENT CALENDAR
19/09/2009 Installing / Compiling packages
20/09/2009 GCC /Compilers continued..
22/09/2009 Tricks and Tweaks ; Shell Scripting
24/09/2009 Writing Spec Files ; A mini Project
26/09/2009 Tech Quiz and Prize distribution
The Venue for the Events will be CSE Seminar Hall .
We have requested SUN for distros and Goodies for the event and hope They'll
send in all the requested stuff.
A string of holidays around the proposed dates may hamper the schedule but
none the less we plan to take up the events in full-swing and will be open
to any changes in the proposed schedule.
The entire GLUG team at Nitham is requested to be a part of not just the
organisation but also open to participating in the events.
A meeting will be held in this regard. All those who didn't make it to the
last meet are requested to attend this one if possible. The details are as
follows:
Date: 5th September,2009
Venue:EEE block
Time: 5:30pm (tentative)
Regards

hello all!
This is in regard to Rakesh's message for using freenode on irc.
But freenode is not available at nitham, i think the colege has blocked the
channel resource.
so can we join up some other relay channel, there are certain others which
are available. If possible can we use WorldUsers as the IRC with the channel
being named the same as glug-nith..??
