I do not know about any compressed iso present on ftp server. There is
an FC6 DVD iso at
ftp://glug-nith.org/isos/fedora/zod/i386/FC-6-i386-DVD.iso
and size is 3442574 KB => 3.283 GB. Can you specify the link from
which you downloaded
the iso?
