There is a very flexible, open-source graphing class library you could try out at http://www.zedgraph.org

to look at.
You actually have to make an effort to follow the lines with your eyes
to get an impression about how the game went.

One option would be to make the graph lines thicker (i.e. 5 pixels or so).

Or, better yet, the area under the graph could be filled.
Large colourful areas just do leap to the eye more easily and would
give an instant impression of how the game went by just taking a short
glance at the graph.

Or at least that's what I think.
