[Getfem-users] how to calculate a length of crack

Hello to Ives and all,

For modeling of fracture it is necessary to calculate a length of the crack.
Are there way to do this? 
In general  we should to evaluate function over the crack. For example: 
a) jump of displacement, 
b) Griffith energy. $G=\int\limits_{C}\gamma_0(x)dC$, where C- crack.
Does anybody have any ideas?
