[Getfem-users] optimal system configuration

What is the ideal hardware system to run getfem++? I.e. what cpu type (intel, itanium, opteron), what operating system and version, and which compiler and version. I am basically asking on what system you are developing getfem++ so that I can spare me the effort to modify it. We soon have to buy a new workstation and I thought I may as well optimize it for getfem++.
