Hi,

I'm impressed by the elegant design and the python wrappers of the GetFem++ project, but am not sure whether it would meet my needs for an upcoming project. In this project I need to simulate a large set of trusses. I don't know whether these can be computed using GetFem++. Since I'm fairly new to FEM I'm not able to make this up from for instance the feature set of a FEM library. I'm asking since it seems to me that GetFem++ is designed more from a PDE perspective than a mechanical perspective.

Thanks for your efforts!

kindly,

-jelle
