Hi folks,
I created a copy of the gcmd repository from the GNOME git server on
GitHub: https://github.com/gcmd/gnome-commander. Each push from my local
repository will now go to both repos. On GitHub it is also very easy to
create pull requests easily for new developers.
Why did I do this?
There exists a continious integration service called "Travis", for which
I configured a yaml file (*) to build gcmd after each commit, even for
each master branch pull request. This is especially cool for
automatically checking unit tests. Here you can see the last build
status and its output (currently without any unit tests):
https://travis-ci.org/gcmd/gnome-commander
The build status is now also visible on the dev-page https://gcmd.github
.io/dev.html and on the README.md part on https://github.com/gcmd/gnome-
commander
Best wishes
Uwe
