Happy New Year Guys!
As a Total Commander addict I would like to contribute to Gnome
Commander. What I really want is replacing GnomeVFS with GVFS - it is
annoying me tremendously that the smb:// shares showing in Nautilus
and on the desktop are not available in gcmd (and going into .gvfs
doesn't cut it)
I have cloned the git master branch and build it successfully.
As a start I will try to make the 'dir' column in the Search result
dialog box NOT show the whole path but the relative path to the search
folder.
One question: on Ubuntu I'm comfortable with editing (Emacs) and
building (command line) but for re-factoring and debugging I would
rather have something visual. I don't want start a big argument but
use whatever you use if you have a preferred IDE. If you don't I could
try to create a Eclipse CDT project and make it available. Has anyone
used DDD?
Thanks
Christian
