Guess what - it works, again.
So this was only temporarily...maybe caused by some background update process
which exchanged a library ?
At least this is what i figure is happening sometimes. I'm reckless enough to
run updates in the background while working with several apps running, even
with Debian unstable. Usually no problems there, but in rare cases, it even
happens that i end up rebooting...
