Would it be possible to add 'file creation date' ?

Preferably as YYYYMMDD altogether with the possibility to extract any part with 
something like $d(0,4), for the YYYY part.

I think for multimedia file renaming this could be useful. For example, the 
EXIF string contains a nearly unusable format and the movie format my cam 
produces have no such tag at all (i believe).
Finally, there are just too many different formats, i'd need a different 
template for each.
