Hogwards-Express #13½ ...

I can access documents on password protected remote ftp server in gedit,
without being asked anything.

Yes i stored the key in gkd at some point but deleted that some times later,
and created a new empty keyring; all done in gnome-keyring-manager. I can see
both keyrings 'session' and 'default' are still empty. Nonetheless, gedit gets
a password from somewhere.
Nothing logged.

Does it mean the keyring-manager does not work as expected ?
Or does gedit (Version 2.20.3) store passwords internally, meanwhile ?

Still, it doesn't work in gcmd, it crashes.
Nautilus crashes too, and also without any popup.

My best guess at that point is, the whole thing may be broken in gnome 2.20.

In any case, for example if gkd unexpectedly died, gcmd should not crash but
return an 'unreachable' error message.

btw. Piotr did you see they added new feature:

/usr/share/doc/gnome-keyring mi: zcat NEWS.gz

Changes in version 2.20.1 are:

* Return a 'not found' result when no results are returned
  from a find operation.

* Don't remove 'default' file on exit. [Alex Larrson]

* Recognize newly created keyrings properly. [Darren Kenny]
