Uninstalled it and tried to run from source, still crashing. The bad news is that 1.3.4 runs without any problems on my box ;o) (It should do, for there is no vital differences between HEAD and DEVELbranch at the moment)
I have the 1.2.3 official release tarball from mid december installed in /usr. I use /usr/local for 1.3 devel versions (those that seem to work).
Could you please test revs #758, #763, #765 and #775 as well? You can disable support for iptcdata with: ./configure --without-libiptcdata
I thought this would take quite some time, but allredy the #758 crashes on any mouseclick just as #794.
