where should I apply this patch to test it? It is not clear to me which file 
has to be patched.

I wanted to cancel authentication after the second wrong log-in attempt.
While i wrote the first patch i locked me out to often from the domain.

I have taken out this countig because i don't check if the user changes his 
user name.
This function is pointless. What would sysadmins have to do the whole day if 
they don't
have to re enable user accounts.

I send you the modified file. Maybe it is good enough that other users may test 
it too.
