| Yes, if there is a cart, a rightkclick entry "Add to Cart..."
| and then select wich saved cart would be just right.

I just remember you always thought of several named carts....
Actually, a good idea. We can store, for example, a filelist for
'valentine greeting pictures' as well as several 'backup' lists.
Yes, really good.

| No selection = the hwole list (or dir if the list is that)
| If files selected = just work on the selected ones.

That's so easy i just couldn't see it ;)
Of course, this is the solution!

I assume `list` refers to the cartlist-chooser menu
I must admit i have difficulties to imagine the whole thing.
How would it look like, for example ?

Right-click context menu with no active selection
gives a submenu tree like

Make ZIP archive -> 'valentine' cart
                            -> 'backup_userconfig' cart
                            -> 'backup_userdata' cart

Right-click on active selection gives instead what ?
Only a single 'Make ZIP archive' entry, no submenu ?

Hmmm...why not always a submenu, like

Make ZIP archive -> visible selection
                           -> 'valentine' cart
                            -> 'backup_userconfig' cart
                            -> 'backup_userdata' cart

... where 'visible selection' can also be the single dir or file
'under the cursor', that is, not explicitly marked with spacebar
or strg- leftclick ?
