Greetings!  There have been quite a few people working, with success,
on getting gcl working on some of the BSDs.  I haven't heard from any
of them since the 2.5.2 release.  I'm away from my email right now, so
I would suggest you search through the mailing list archives to
find the people with the experience, write them directly, and cc the
list.  It would be nice if an official BSD person could setup an
official package, if it hasn't been done already.
