That's understandable and somewhat expected.

It builds fine, but using it would make Pantomime effectively GPL.
This will rule out all non-GPL'ed apps, both free and proprietary. I
know of at least TurboCAT Mail that was using Pantomime.

LibreSSL is not in Debian (yet) but it would pose the same licensing
problems (the license is the same as original OpenSSL AFAIK).
I'll work on a fully-fledged GnuTLS support once I find the time.
What is the minimal GnuTLS version that you insist to be supported?
Same as the GNUstep Base requirement?
