Gradually being restored but used on road regularly. Re-built engine with new cam chain, pistons and rings, some bearings and seals replaced.
The current cans are stainless replacements of originals which due age rusted out. Seats original vinyl. Front grill badge, and all lights are new old stock. As expected from Honda, this engine is quite a precision mechanism constructed of only the highest quality materials including modern alloys. Body hugging adjustable bucket seats and quite sufficient legroom for relaxed touring without tiring. Lots of New Old Stock parts. New old stock instruments and steering wheel, Restored dashboard panel.
The only unfortunate thing about the bike was the non-original exhaust pipes that looked to be homemade from old Cherry Bomb mufflers from a car! As you can see there is a lot of work to restore it.
Bought her new and still have her. New old stock instruments and steering wheel, Restored dashboard panel. Reverse lights below.
She takes some looking after but she is well worth it.
Still, I really enjoy this little bike and it always gets tons of compliments.
The four forward speed synchromesh transmission with positive floor change lever and smooth clutch make this automobile quite easy to operate. Fresh cold air vents in front of door hinges. Crossply tyres are bridgestone. Gearshifter to push-pull selector through bulkhead. Mine needs a carbie float bowl - help! Phot shot at home downunder in Auckland , New Zealand.

However have a local producer who can replicate the originals in black chrome.
Heater via lever, next to gear shifter, push in to open flap and let warm engine air inside.

It is definitely not a race bike, my opinion, but Honda did build at least a prototype based on this engine.
The pump forced lubrication system with two seperate filters enables the engine to move at such high speeds without under wear. Horn, Carburetor, Diaphram, Wiper motor.

Fresh cold air vents in front of door hinges. No cover in boot was standard.
