Firefox add-ons are getting disabled because Mozilla didn't renew a
certificate in the chain, more info at Phoronix:
https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?px=Firefox-Add-Ons-Cert-Expired
A temporary work around is to disable signature checks but I'd also
combine that with temporarily disabling auto-update of plugins. So that is:
extensions.update.enabled false
xpinstall.signatures.required false
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-on-signing-in-firefox
https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/how-to-turn-off-add-on-updates/
On going discussion on the issue:
https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/certificate-issue-causing-add-ons-to-be-disabled-or-fail-to-install
Revert the above settings to previous values when this is fixed.
