[Freetype] newbie question...

Hi,

I  figured out how to convert a font to an TT_outline object. Now my
question: I  need a font  in a  polyline representation and not as an
polygone or outline  object.

How can I convert fonts to polylines ??? Can I do this with freetype or
must i look for a method to convert outline objects into a line
representation ?
