No, it will impact all Chrome/Chromium/Firefox users once distros update
to the next freetype version. It won't look pretty: https://ibb.co/hJ37ca

At the moment only subpixel rendering is broken, which is not enabled by default in any major distributuin. I was rather gentle. :)
