Hi,

The font is embedded in a PDF document. Acrobat can open the file, and
ideally we would like to be able to open any file which Acrobat can cope
with.

>From my point of view I will have to patch it locally (it is difficult
for me to argue that the PDF is faulty, when Acrobat opens it). I would
appreciate it if you could consider patching the main build, as it might
help others and it would certainly save me having to reapply the patch
each time I upgrade.

Whether it is just a single font I don't know. It doesn't seem to be a
common problem I agree, but the fact that Acrobat handles it may
indicate that it is something they have seen too.

I can supply the code change, it is only a few lines in one file.

Regards

Martin

The main question is whether it is essential to handle this particular
font. For me it's questionable to patch FreeType just to support a
single buggy font.
