[Devel] We are tracing the source of xft

Dear Mr. Packard:

We are now trying to trace the source of xft, and to make some modification in 
order to find out, what happened in our code.

The problem is:
How can we compile xft alone?

We have download the whole X Window system with CVS, and use "make World" to 
compile the system.
It took about 3 hours on my PII 350 machine.

Is it possible to compile just xft ?
If yes, could you give us some instructions to do that ?
