[Devel] ft2demos and Forte C++ compiler

Just trying to compile cvs (checked out five minutes ago) ft2demos with Sun's
Forte C++ compiler:

void* to FT_MemoryRec_*.

memory has not yet been assigned a value.

/dsk1/scratch/src/ft2demos> CC -V

Is this a C++ type checking thing?  I'll try with the C compiler...
