I tried to change some styles (ie keyword style in ruby properties). I can
change the fore: color but when I add back: color it always gets purple-red.
I tried several very different color values but all looked the same. 
But it did change the background from the default white at least.

I will try to look at that but it is not the thing I could test in irb.
I would have to understand how to do something to the running application
first.
