Generally speaking there shouldn't be a difference. IPMI over LAN is done
via connection to an IP address and port. If each blade server has its own
IP, then you access IPMI via that.
Anything beyond this is vendor specific and you'll need to read the vendor
specific information. For example, some vendors hide IPMI behind a blade
chassis interface. They perform IPMI behind the scenes and present sensors
and other information to the user in some other way.
