Hi Marcu and Sahal (and everyone else)
There is a university book I found which is released under the GFDL so
we could in principle cut and
paste from it safely :)

Its largely too advanced for our needs but some sections like
Geometrical optics and the Heat and Properties of Matter may be
useful to us. I had a quick look and I think there is a fair amount of
stuff we could use.
My objective is to produce books so I have no objections to us using
other GFDL sources
to get things moving along as fast as possible.
