new changes in tutorial.el recognize "esc" in "dESCends" as ESC key?

This sentence is from Emacs tutorial:

    This tutorial descends from a long line of Emacs tutorials
    ** The key ESC has been rebound, but you can use  instead [More 
information] **
    starting with the one written by Stuart Cracraft for the original Emacs.

it seems the "esc" in the word "dESCends" is recognized as ESC key, and
complains about key rebinding.
