    I've not called it anything.  That's the first line that appears when you 
run
    gdb on Fedora Core 3, so perhaps you should tell them.

I've tried asking Red Hat to change this, but they don't listen.  They
simply don't care whether this is fair to us.  They intend to keep on
calling it "Red Hat Linux" and not giving us credit for our work.

Thus, all I can do is ask OTHER people, such as you, to write "Red Hat
GNU/Linux".  You cannot tell Red Hat what to say, but you can decide
not to imitate them, and that is what I am asking you to do in places
like this:

     It doesn't seemd to work with GNU gdb Red Hat Linux 
(6.1post-1.20040607.43rh).

I hope that you'll DTRT even where Red Hat DTWT.
