I have tracked this issue down to the last line of this function:

This command gets called in many places, e.g. org-next-block, which is called by org-babel-next-src-block. It is inconvenient when you use results drawers, as it closes them when you navigate around.
It isn't obvious how to suppress that behavior. Any thoughts?
