I don't get this.
I have
#+BEGIN_EXAMPLE
<<test2>>
#+END_EXAMPLE
However, it seems wrong to have
#+BEGIN_EXAMPLE
a=2
#+END_EXAMPLE
because you no longer know what part you are editing.
