Ah that's what you meant. Yeah but I am activating org-mode for org.txt
files:
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.org$" . org-mode))
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.org.txt$" . org-mode))
And if I open the journal file it indeed has org-mode active.
