Hi Myles,

Thanks a lot for your help. I also do not quite understand the way it works, and I hope there must be a simpler way to mark previous occurrences as "DONE", while those in the future as "TO DO", for a given reccurring event.

If something else is available, please advise.

And see also the variable org-agenda-repeating-timestamp-show-all.
(Having read the available help, don't quite understand way it working
for me...)
