Right - never thought about that.

I always delete functions which I do not need any more and feel bad
(What if I need them again???) - with archiving I would be able to
retrieve them again.

OK - I use svn as well, but...

I should probobly read the org manual again and look at each section
from the viewpoint of literate programming.
