Aloha Suvayu,

I haven't looked into this in depth, but I think your problem might  
come from loading amssymb and amsmath.  LaTeX is complaining that  
something is already defined; the AMS packages are a prime suspect  
here.  Perhaps you could inhibit amssymb?
