[Orgmode] indentation for section headings vs bulleted lists

Hello, I have

#+STARTUP: indent

in my .org file. I notice that section headings get indented like this:

* blah blah blah blah
  blah blah blah blah
  blah blah blah blah
** blah blah blah blah
   blah blah blah blah
   blah blah blah blah

This is very nice. But regular bulleted lists are indented like this:

- blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah blah
 - blah blah blah blah
 blah blah blah blah
 blah blah blah blah

How do I make it so that bulleted lists are indented just like the section 
headings?
