Also my template with the "÷" character showed the same behaviour.
I think it's a problem of file encoding.
+ Is your .emacs utf-8? I mean the file where you store the
"(setq org-capture-templates (quote"
+ is invoicing.org utf-8?
C-x RET f utf-8 # change file encoding
