I didn't try indeed. I know it /will/ work for a fixed-pitch font, but I
was searching for alternatives and/or different semantics anyway.
I cannot tell if you're bothered by this (if so, it's not intentional).
I understood perfectly what you wrote/meant so far, so I don't think we
need to go on.
